Someone’s misfortune may turn out to be a huge blessing for another – and this is exactly what’s about happening to Ghana’s finest comedian, David Oscar, as he’s about moving to TV3 for a fresh start.

Benny Blanco, ScrewLife.Com is told, has resigned as co-host of TV3’s flagship morning program – ‘New Day.’ As to where next the TV presenter will be heading to, we have no idea, but we are reliably told his position won’t be left vacant.

Although the show has lost its major presenters like the award winning photoshop thief – Nana Aba Anamoah – TV3 is poised to keep the program running with well-experienced individuals.

In view of this, producers of ‘New Day’ suggested to management that they needed a high profile comedian on the show who could attract viewers with his/her interesting jokes.

When the die was cast by management of TV3, it fell on no other person than our cherished and finest comedian, David Oscar, former host of Viasat 1’s ‘Laugh a Minute.’

The well-known Grammy Award winning comedian who left an impressive mark at Viasat 1 is expected to commence work at TV3 on Monday, November 30, 2015.

Speaking to ScrewLife.Com, David Oscar said “I’m short of words. Just last week, I had a call from America and the producers of ‘The Cosby Show’ said they wanted to revive the sitcom. Knowing my track record, they wanted to use me as the main character. I declined the offer because the money involved was not enough. Even though the money TV3 is offering is nowhere near the $5 million the American producers quoted, I have decided to stay in Ghana and serve my people. Ghanaians, for many years, have enjoyed my jokes and I know they are even going to enjoy them more now that I’m heading to TV3.”

When asked about his wow moment in comedy, emotionally charged David said when one of his jokes sent a man to his early grave because he got chocked up with laughter.

He therefore called on all his fans to catch up with him on TV3’s ‘New Day’ on Monday.
