Nigeria is far lager than Ghana in terms of population and size—but the two West African countries which remain ace rivals fight head to head when it comes to soccer and several other things.

Even in the department of food, Ghanaians constantly claim on social media they are the true originators of Jollof rice—and Ghana Jollof rice is far delicious when compared to the large grain Nigerian Jollof.

But one thing Nigerians always bragged about and undoubtedly stood as champions is their corruption prowess—anywhere you mention Nigeria, corruption and 419 come in mind.

Apparently, a huge percentage of Cuban citizens per a 2014 poll even think the capital city of Nigeria is called Corruption—remember, these people speak Spanish.

Nigeria has lost its only clear bragging right over Ghana—and ScrewLife.Com has learnt that, the people are upset, saying, as usual their useless leaders have disappointed them.

According to the Nigerian website-the Punch, “people of Lagos and Abuja are upset that a small country like Ghana has managed to beat Nigeria to emerge as the second most corrupt nation in Africa per the 2015 Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index.”

Another Nigerian website-BellaNaija says “it is a shock that Ghana has beaten Nigeria on this year’s Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index—now Nigerians cannot any longer claim a clear superiority over Ghana in anything. Our only strength, which is our ability to swindle has been snatched away.”

Meanwhile, back in Ghana, President John Dramani Mahama was reported by ScrewLife.Com to have been unsatisfied with Ghana placing second on the corruption index, saying, Ghana ought to have been first—and not South Africa.

He said “his government has been looting and encouraging public sector workers to be corrupt but as usual, their achievements have been down played by Transparency International because they are in bed with the opposition party”
