In a shocking report surprising many across the political landscape, President John Dramani Mahama has issued a statement of apology to Ghanaians that begins by saying, “I would like to apologize for all the mistakes I’ve made under my presidency.”

He followed up by saying, “This is the mother of all apologies, it’s the greatest apology I’m making in my entire life.”

The first gentleman read the full statement at a recent press conference, and fielded a number of tough, hard-hitting questions. Bright Mawuli, ScrewLife.Com’s senior reporter, asked if the apology was particularly timed after his latest comments that Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has no basis to describe him as an incompetent leader since he doesn’t know what it takes to be President.

He said in response, “Not necessarily, I’m apologizing because it is the right time to do so since next year is an election year. I’ve thought about Bawumia’s comments as well and I’ve realized he was right after all. I’m really an incompetent leader – there’s no doubt about that. I responded to his comments because I was deeply hurt.”

When asked if Bawumia, NPP, and Ghanaians do not accept the blanket apology, President Mahama responded, “Listen, anyone who doesn’t accept this is just a loser. Every Ghanaian knows I make the best promises and no one else even comes close; same with apologies.”

He therefore asked Ghanaians to let go all the pains his government has caused them and vote for him in the 2016 general elections.

“They say I’m a failure. Yes, I know that, that’s the more reason why I want Ghanaians to vote for me again in order to right the wrongs. When a child fails in school (Primary & JHS), the teachers repeat him so if I’ve failed, kindly repeat me by voting for me again. To err is human, to forgive is divine,” he concluded.

However, our reporter made him understand that when a student fails more than 2 subjects in the university, the school sacks him.
