President Mahama to Be Appointed by FIFA to Help Fight Corruption
The football fraternity took to a standstill when leaders of the highest governing body- FIFA were arrested for corruption. This got a lot of football lovers asking so many questions with just a few answers from FIFA.
The FBI and other law enforcement agencies took it upon themselves to make every culprit face the music. Recently, we’ve seen several new members of the association having been arrested.
As a result of all these developments, FIFA seems to have lost its credibility. Some sponsors of various FIFA projects have decided to withdraw their sponsorship in order not to tarnish their image.
After months of survey on the African continent in search for a man capable of helping fight corrupt at FIFA from within, the FBI have arrived at a decision to appoint only one person who meets their criteria to help them in their quest.
President Mahama is on top of the list and in his address to Ghanaians yesterday, he made it known to all that he has been approached by the FBI to help deal with the issue of corruption at FIFA.
He further explained that, this global appointment is as a result of his hard work towards the elimination of corruption in Ghana. He showed the FBI evidence of corruption cases he has dealt with and overcome. This convinced them the more to give him the job.
President Mahama will leave for Geneva next year for a week to begin his fight against corruption. Whiles away, he will leave affairs for his able vice who will continue the good work that he (Prez. Mahama) is doing.
