A Mallam From Bawku Kills Himself Because Thieves Stole His 3 Goats A Client Gave Him
A resident of Bawku in the Upper East region of Ghana, called Mallam Issaka has reported killed himself after sentencing himself to death by hanging—when he discovered a day to Christmas that thieves had stolen his 3 goats.
Mallam Issaka is said to be well known in his community for possessing special powers—and has an ability to foresee the future.
However, it seems he could not for see his own future when he invited his in-laws to spend the Christmas holidays at his place, hoping to slaughter one of his 3 goats for their Christmas dinner.
The sister of Mallam Issaka told Tamale based Justice Fm that, on 24th night, his brother and his younger son went into an erected fence where the goats were being kept to make a killing selection—only to find the poop of the goats in there alone.
For over 20 minutes, the Mallam could not say a word. He walked straight into his shrine to consult his dwarfs and came out saying, all is well.
The next morning, the family found him hanging on a nearby pawpaw tree—dead, without a note or even a Merry Christmas message.
