The founder and front-runner of Heaven’s Gate Ministry International, Nicholas Osei, popularly known as ‘Kumchacha’ has categorically stated that offering coins as collection in the house of God is totally unacceptable.

The controversial Ghanaian pastor, who was spotted by a ScrewLife.Com staff preaching in a VIP coach travelling from Accra to Kumasi, made this shocking statement when passengers on board the bus tried offering him coins as a way of showing appreciation for his evangelism.

According to Kumchacha, a close ally of Ghanaian fetish priest – Kwaku Bonsam, “God and his angels do not spend coins because coins do not have any value in heaven, just like 1 Ghana Pesewa has no value in Ghana.”

He further stated that if Christians want God to appreciate their offerings, they should rather forgo coins and offer paper monies since those ones are usable in heaven.

“Proverbs 3:9 says all humans must honor the LORD with their wealth, especially the best part of everything they produce. Do you want to tell me the best part of your wealth is coins?” he rhetorically asked.

Angry Kumchacha, for that reason, rejected the coins passengers were giving him as offering in the bus.

“I’m not taking these coins because you have not shown respect to the Almighty and his servant. I don’t need your money; it’s for the LORD. Let me make it clear to you that it’s wrong to offer coins at church or to any preacher of the gospel,” he stated.
