NDC

This year is an election year and as we already know of our politicians, now it’s the time they will be endorsing various songs that complement their campaign messages.

Reliable information reaching ScrewLife.Com indicates that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has endorsed Ghana’s self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale’s new banger, Kakai, as its official 2016 campaign song.

According to party executives, this is to enable the ruling party scare and drive away the ‘Elephant’ (New Patriotic Party) into the bush.

At a meeting that was held at the party’s headquarters Saturday morning, all party executives who were present unanimously agreed to use the song as the official campaign song ahead of the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections.

We are told Shatta Wale is yet to be contacted by the party to do a refix of the song by changing some of the lyrics and replacing them with NDC and its campaign messages.

“Instead of the chorus going like Hai Hai Hai Hai Shatta Wale I come like Kakai Hai, Hai Hai Hai Hai me come to them like some Kakai; it will be refixed into Hai Hai Hai Hai NDC we come like Kakai Hai, Hai Hai Hai Hai Mahama come to them like some Kakai,” our source at the party’s Headquarters told us.

In the song, Shatta Wale mentioned that he would forever be their leader. By using the track as the official NDC campaign song, it means the party will forever be ruling the country so Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and his elephant party can find solace in the deep forest.
