The two ex-detainees

There have been lots of discussions about keeping the two men who were captured in Afghanistan and held at the U.S. base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for nearly 14 years without charge in Ghana.

One of the areas most Ghanaians keep hammering on is the government using Ghana’s resources to cater for these two. However, The Public Affairs Counselor of the US Embassy in Ghana, Daniel Fennell, has asserted that Ghana and USA will be sharing the cost of their upkeep and security.

Even though we do not know how true this assertion is, we have been reliably informed that the two ex-convicts have decided to sponsor their stay in Ghana.

According to a security personnel who spoke to ScrewLife.Com on condition of anonymity, Mahmmoud Omar Mohammed Bin Atef and Khalid Shaykh Muhammad are worried that their stay in Ghana has caused confusion between the government of Ghana and the US embassy.

“In order not to be considered as burdens on the Ghanaian government, they have decided to raise funds for their upkeep. Since they are associated with the global militant Sunni Islamist organization, Al-Qaeda, they know how to dance the popular Alkayida dance very well.”

“They have therefore decided to discuss with the President, John Dramani Mahama, to allow them tour various senior high schools and teach students the Alkayida dance in order to raise sufficient money for their upkeep. This, they say, will relieve the government from spending money on them,” our insider said.

So for all the senior high school students who love music and dance, be on the lookout for the Alkayida dance experts, Mahmmoud Omar Mohammed Bin Atef and Khalid Shaykh Muhammad as they will soon be in your school as dance tutors.
