Mahama (left) and Obama

Honestly, I thought all negotiations about these ex-Gitmo convicts were over but it seems the game is yet to begin as the current President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is in talks with US President, Barack Obama, to bring five more Gitmo detainees in exchange of Ghanaian musician and comedian, Kwame A-Plus.

According to the most ‘competent’ President Ghana has ever had since independence, the musician cum comedian is of no use to the state, thus wasting the state’s resources that could be used for other important things.

Speaking to Barack Obama via phone in a secret conversation, President Mahama said he would be more than glad if Obama could come and take that nuisance away as soon as possible because all he does is to criticize him on Facebook and shower praises on his political opponent, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo.

According to him, people like that can make him lose elections and since he’s not prepared for that, he has to employ all manner of ‘takashi’ tactics to boot him out of the country.

“See, that chap is a complete nuisance because he doesn’t allow me to function. Today Mahama this, tomorrow Mahama that. Just go to his Facebook wall and see things for yourself. I once reported him to Facebook so they could permanently delete his account from their system but that didn’t work.”

“The only option I have now is to plead with you to come and take him away. I’m prepared to take 5 more Gitmo detainees in exchange of that. As you can see, I’m taking very good care of the two you brought (except that Ghanaians are insulting them too much) so you don’t have to worry about the upkeep of the five I’m requesting. Please and please, do all you can in your capacity to take that A-Plus boy away,” Mahama told Obama.
