The government of Iran has announced that it has banned Valentine—and the punishment for violating the ban is the usual, stoning and finger cutting as well as Allah going to through you into hell.

On Friday, the police in Iran issued a directive backed by warning to retailers and citizens to desist from buying or selling anything related to Valentine—or celebrating it, as it’s a western culture which dents their unique holiness.

The Islamic Republic’s officials are upset by the fact that the annual February 14 Valentine celebration which pays homage to romance, named after an early Christian martyr, has become popular in the country and other several parts of Middle East in recent year.

According to State Police Chief-Imar Bin Djamal, apart from Valentine being a western culture, it promotes promiscuity which leads to too much s*x on the day, especially among the young—an act Islam seriously frowns on.

Instead of celebrating Valentine, citizens were advised to rather read their Qurans and pray….
