Yvonne Nelson

Kempinski Hotel in Accra has introduced a celebrity chef weekend scheme—and Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has been appointed as the first to lead the exciting cooking adventure.

Apparently, the last time Yvonne Nelson prepared Indomie at home, her entire family spent the next 3 days living in the bathroom—but she has since taking some cooking classes.

The would-be celebrity chef will cook on demand; guests staying at the posh hotel will be able to order any Ghanaian dish which Yvonne Nelson will prepare, un-aided.

For this, it’s expected that prices of ORS in Accra will shoot up astronomically as uncontrolled diarrhoea is expected to hit the many who would taste any of the legendary chef’s dishes at the hotel.

The popular Ghanaian actress in an interview said; “I hardly cook since I spent most of my time on social media during the evenings and my mother has taken upon herself to doing all the cooking. But that does not mean I have forgotten what I learnt during my cooking class so this Kempinski gig will certainly be interesting.”

Whatever it is, it’s going to be fun and risky…
