Akufo Addo

It looks like the bank accounts of some pastors are about to get slimmer—provided NPP’s Nana Akufo Addo  wins the next general elections in Ghana.

Over the years, various pastors have been hugely cashing in on the desperation of many Ghanaians by selling overpriced anointing oil and holy water—when these stuff are just water or oil turned into a supposed divine residence of God.

But this booming business of which the beneficiaries pay no tax is about to end—as Akufo Addo intends to pass a decree to end the sale of anointing oil and water when he becomes the president.

Under this decree, it will be a crime punishable by 7 years imprisonment for any person claiming to be a representative of God on earth to sell anything in the name of God and it seems like, Bishop Obinim and his cohorts are about to spend many long years behind bars.

From what ScrewLife.Com is told “Nana Akufo Addo thinks it’s a complete rip-off by these pastors to be selling these things to Ghanaians, especially those claiming to be debt paying and money generating holy oil and water.”

Apparently, this will not be a forward campaign message for the obvious political reasons but behind the veil, it is well placed to set many Ghanaians free from the shackles of this money making scheme by some pastors.
