So it’s not only the current president of Ghana and his vice who are just interested in the success of Abraham Attah—ex-president John Agyekum Kufuor is also a big fan and will even soon invite the Ghanaian-Hollywood star to his residence for dinner.

Abraham Attah has become the hottest topic in Ghana for almost a week now, following the failed mockery of 3 Ghanaian radio presenters.

Earlier today, Abraham arrived in Accra from United States and during an on-arrival interview, he stated that he was not going to do any local movies because Hollywood is fun and that’s where he is heading.

It also came to light that he was relocating to United States to further his education and pursue his career, courtesy of Netflix.

His comment that he was not going to do any local movie has been positioned by some Ghanaians as improper and a PR disaster—others say, it’s disrespectful to those tirelessly working in the Ghana Movie Industry.

But ex-president John Agyekum Kufuor thinks Abraham Attah has a point.

During a private in bed conversation with his wife this evening, Kufuor asked the wife who sort of shared the sentiments of the critics that, if Dede Ayew, Sulley Muntari and the rest cannot be reasonably expected to come and play in Ghana’s local league, why should Abraham Attah?

He added; “It’s sad we have lost such a brilliant and talented young man to America but that’s a call on us all to fix our industry and country.”

“It’s not a bad choice that the kid has made—I would have made the same if I were in his position, especially looking at the current state of this country under the NDC,’ he ended.
