Shatta Wale

On the morning of the resurrection of the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards—Ghana’s rejectionist and the man who has more supporters than Nelson Mandela, Shatta Wale has taken to social media to wish those fighting for a plaque at the VGMA good luck.

Shatta Wale who has been spiritually at loggerheads with the VGMA before it was even instituted tried settling the dust this year by making a honourable submission of his work to he VGMA board—but his big man efforts were slapped in the face when the VGMA board rejected his works on some skewed and pitiful grounds.

Since the era of rejection, Shatta Wale has been examining the VGMA desperation and has come to realized that, indeed he does not even belong to the small pound—an award scheme which is solely for the broke and desperate artistes of a third world struggling child play called music industry.

The self acclaimed King of dancehall in Ghana used his twitter account not long ago to wish all the 2016 nominees of the VGMA well, and as usually, he added what he really wanted to say to his message.

“Good luck to all the 2016 nominees of the VGMA, may you win another wood or plastic called an award.  What you probably need to really know is that, the VGMA is for broke and desperate artistes, some of us are far gone in the air,” Shatta Wale stated.

And as usual, his fans who run around like a swam of bees jumped to LIKE and shared his tweet in their millions—sort of saying, we are in agreement with the rejected saviour.
