Organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), Charterhouse, has called on the self-acclaimed Dancehall King in Ghana, Shatta Wale, to do them the honor of showing his face at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) where the VGMA is taking place in order to light up the place.

According to Charterhouse, the absence of Shatta Wale has made the place so dull to the extent that most people at the auditorium are threatening to go home.

The event company further stated that the various artistes who have had the opportunity to perform on the stage were not able to charge up the people in the auditorium.

This, Charterhouse says is making the event more boring and the only person who can save them from this mess is the one and only brand ambassador of AdIdas – Shatta Wale.

“Charterhouse would like to use this medium to apologize to Shatta Wale for banning him from the award scheme. Taking him out from this has really affected us. Wherever the Dancehall King is tonight, we plead with him to come straight to the Accra Conference Center and light up the place for us,” the event company stated.

The statement further read, “We definitely know he has the audience appeal and can make the people enjoy being here. We thought we were disciplining him, not knowing we were harming ourselves. If someone knows the whereabouts of Shatta Wale, the person should please let him know we deeply regret what we did.”
