Bishop Obinim Says Parliament Should Make Sleeping With Someone’s Wife A CRIME
Following the Founder and leader of the Apostolic Good News Church International, Apostle Doglas Akwesi Amanoris‘ recent disgrace—having been caught red handed having s*x with a female church member, someone’s wife, Bishop Daniel Obinim has said, such things are getting out of hands and something must be done about it.
Speaking at his church’s Sunday’s dawn service at Tema, Obinim said; “some of these pastors are denting the images of other decent men of God like me. They are sleeping with their church members anyhow and now husbands are worried about their wives even going to church. Something must be urgently done about this else married women will find it difficult convincing their husbands to make it to church services across the country.”
He continued; “such abomination of sleeping with someone’s wife will be punished on judgement but we can’t wait till then. For now, the government must make it a crime for anyone to sleep with another person’s wife. And it is not only the pastors who are doing it, the small boys with no work to do are going about smoking weed and releasing the energy on people’s wives.”
As it stands now, there’s no law in Ghana that makes it a crime for two consenting adults to have heterosexual s*x—even if one is married.
But considering the rampant cases of people withdrawing money from the bank accounts of others in the way Apostle Doglas Amanoris did, perhaps, Obinim is right and parliament must criminalise this—which will make almost majority of Ghana’s population ex-convicts.
