Lil Win is not only funny, he’s highly creative beyond the scope of movies—and this he recently exhibited with an excellent cover of E-40’s Choices, which has become the must cover song in Ghana after Sarkodie’s debut.

In his cover, Lil Win showed his creative prowess, centring the lyrics of his version around what has been trending in Ghana in recent times—something that caught the attention of Ghanaian music lovers.

And now, it has also fetched him an important invitation to be part of the 2016 BET Awards—where he will perform his version at the annual BET Experience, mostly a poorly promoted event that ends up being quarter-filled by BET workers for the camera.

For Lil Win, coming right out of Kumasi to the BET Awards for his first musical cover is a great achievement beyond anything he considered he could ever achieve when he was a young boy—therefore even if he will perform in front of cleaners and technicians, he doesn’t really mind.

The BET Awards will take place on June 26, 2016, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and Lil Win is expected to be in United States by 24th.
