2 People Collapse At Adenta in Accra Just 9 Days into 200 Days of Church Fasting & Prayers At Power Life Ministries
Power Life Ministries (Worldwide) which only has branches in Accra and yet calls itself a worldwide church has declared 200 days of fasting and prayers—backed by each evening’s 5pm church service for this 200 days.
The church has asked it members and non-members to come with their additional problems for the Lord to take care of them during their 200 days of fasting and apparently, the church has been full since the start of the divine punishment.
However, 2 people collapsed and were rushed to a near by clinic at the church’s Adenta branch, just 9 days into the fasting.
But the resident pastor of the Adenta branch-Ebenezer Osei Nketiah said; the two did not collapse because of the fasting and prayers but it was because they went to work while fasting—saying, “if you are fasting and you go to work, the exhaustion becomes compounded and that’s what happened to these two.”
As to why 200 days of fasting and prayers is needed; Pastor Ebenezer explained, “certain problems are common and a 3-day fasting and prayer can get them solved but they are targeting the additional high case problems where you will need to show God that you are extra serious before He intervenes.”
He added: “God Himself revealed to the their founder that he should instruct his members to fast and pray for 200 days so that heaven will be opened for them, for his abundance grace and blessings to fall on them and their offsprings.”
