‘D-Black: ‘I Have Retired from Ghana Rap Because of Too Many Wack Rappers’

Many people on social media have been calling on rapper D-Black to jump on the beef wave between Sarkodie, EL and M.nifest—and a few minutes ago, the rapper responded to these calls with a Facebook post.

Desmond Black wrote on his facebook;

“Great that many are asking me to join the beef. I will surely murder E.L, Sarkodie and M.nifest but I have retired from GH rap because of so many wack rappers being called boss.”

Considering D-Back’s credibility as one of the best rappers in Ghana with no accolades to show for this and without any substantive street credibility, this would have been a perfect opportunity to truly show fans what he is made of—and take us on a journey of heavy punchlines.

But he says he has retired and no one can bring a successfully retired man to fight in a wack rappers battle.
