Goat And Its Owner Wanted for Destroying President Mahama’s Poster in Yendi—Owner to Be Charged With Destroying Electoral Material
A Goat and its owner are on Yendi Police’s most wanted list—after the goat was photographed by a passerby destroying a poster of President Mahama in Yendi.
Though this has shocked the people of Yendi as to why the goat would go straight to Mahama’s poster to tear that down, a herdsman has stated that even animals can feel the hovering social and economic hardship in Ghana.
According to the Fulani man talented in hearing multiple animals language, “a lot of animals talk about how President Mahama’s government has caused their owners not to feed them enough and they so much wish they had votes.”
He added: “since they do not have votes, they are ready to do everything possible to make sure Mahama loses the election and this can only be said to be one of those things”
The Yendi Police commander has said they are not really interested in the goat per say, rather, the owner who they believed must have trained the goat to do that.
