Hassan Ayariga

Disqualified APC flagbearer-Dr Hassan Ayariga has stated with anger that the Electoral Commission of Ghana must refund all his entire nomination fees of 50,000 GHS to him or else he will show them where power lies.

Speaking to Tamale based radio Savannah, Dr. Hassan Ayariga said it was contemptuous for the EC to say an educated man like him with a doctorate degree could not correctly fill out a mere form.

And that he’s realized every institution in Ghana is corrupt–not excluding the EC.

He added: “for me, all I want is my money. Because if you don’t want my forms, then you do not also want my money.”

“The EC is a joke for saying a Dr like me could not fill a mere form. They better give me my money or else I will show them where power lies,” he stated.

Hassan Ayariga and 13 other aspiring President candidates were yesterday disqualified by the EC for several nomination form related mistakes.
