Wanted By Police: Two Tellers of GN Bank Being Paid 400 GHS A Month Steal 197,000 GHS From Paa Kwesi Nduom’s 18.7 Million Dollars Account Held With the Bank

There has been an increase social interest in how much some of the big financial and telecommunication companies in Ghana pay their workers–after it emerged that, many Ghanaian workers who have graduated from University are being heavily exploited.

Many of the big companies in Ghana have refused to directly hire workers, relying on contract workers who are modern day slaves, being paid peanuts to do jobs that other directly hired staff are paid 3 or 4 times to do.

Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom’s GN has been indicted on social media as the house of the slavemasters–as it has emerged Branch Officers of the bank working 6 days a week take home less than 550 GHS each month, without any added benefits.

Now, that must explain why two tellers of GN Bank are wanted by the police–for allegedly stealing 197,000 GHS from the owner of the bank’s 18.7 Million Dollars account.

Apparently, the two bankers, named Owusuaa Leticia and Ama Fosuaa Antwi from the Kumasi Central Branch of the bank have absconded with the money.

Some social media folks have defended their actions, saying, when you exploit people to make money, they are entitled to that money as much as you.
