Josh Laryea

The news of Josh Laryea’s suspension as a pastor in the International Central Gospel Church went viral yesterday.

Following up on the story, screwlife.com was able to have an interview with Josh Laryea who was surprisingly open to us about the issue.

“You want to know why I was suspended, right? Well, after church service last Sunday, I felt very hungry because I had been fasting for 21 days. So I decided to  pass by a chop bar near the church to get a bowl of fufu with groundnut soup.

When I was eating, some of my church members who came around to get some drinks saw me and threatened to write a letter to the General Overseer who has spoken against eating fufu because of the way it is prepared and eaten.” He said

“I was shocked when I saw the suspension leter since I did not know this would go this far.” He added.

According to him, he will continue doing the work of God where he would be allowed to eat fufu with his hands.
