Kofi Amoako, a third year student at the University of Cape Coast has died after writing an Exam in Political Science.

The event occurred on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.

According to a colleague of his, the exam contained questions that none of them had seen before.

“We don’t know where these questions came from. The lecturer never discussed these questions with us. We were all sweating and some of us had to take our clothes off to cool down.” Kojo, his classmate said.

“While writing the paper, Kofi Amoako kept holding his chest and crying. I thought it was normal until he collapsed immediately after submitting his sheet to the invigilator” he added.

According to his roommate, the deceased had not eaten the whole of the day and had been preparing for the exam.

“He was confident of passing the paper. He told me he was going to get his “A” and come back. He kept reading all night and refused to eat anything in the morning” the roommate said.

According to the doctor at the UCC Hospital, Kofi died few minutes after he was brought in.

“The exact cause of death is yet to be established but we suspect it was a cardiac arrest.” The doctor said.

The body has been deposited at the morgue.
