According to Citifmonline.com, Prince Amakadu, a middle-aged man has been sentenced to 60 years in prison by the Tamale Court.

According to reports, he stole a guinea fowl and went into hiding for 6 days. A search team made up of some police officers and some young men in the community were made to search for him.

He was arrested and arraigned before the Tamale Court where he pleaded guilty to the charge of theft.

“This is not the first time I have lost a guinea fowl. it happens to me every now and then and I thank God that today, justice has been served.” The owner of the fowl said.

When asked where the fowl was, Prince said “I have used it for light soup”.
