According to the Ghana Statistical service, 70% of young ladies who go to the Accra and Westhills Malls in Accra only go there to take selfies; they don’t buy anything.

The Minister of Information, Mr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid sees this as a threat to National security and a great cause of worry. He made this known in a phone interview with Citi FM regarding the development.

In addition, he said “the Government is going to put in measures to ensure that this reduces. If one lady takes more than three selfies in any mall, she will be carried away”.
