The New Patriotic Party will in the next few hours hold elections to elect their party’s national officers at their national conference at the Koforidua Technical University (KTU).

A big name among those who are seeking to become national chairman of the party, Mr. Freddie Blay has imported 100 buses into the country about three days ago as a part of 275 buses he promised to give each constituency during the heat of the campaign. These buses he say will bring some income to the various constituencies when they begin to work under a partnership deal he has already reached with the State Transport Cooperation (STC).

Mr. Freddie Blay has however reiterated that if he should be defeated in the elections which will take places in a few hours from now, he will certainly return the buses and return to his mother party , the Convention People’s Party (C. P. P.). He further stated that he is no NGO or a charitable agency to buy over 275 buses worth 11 million dollars for various constituencies and not win the election. He believes, that once the buses are going to the various constituencies, the delegates who are voting should as a matter of necessity vote for him and no other aspirant.

He also stated in this interview that Stephen Ntim, who is also an aspirant should stop crying foul about the buses he has bought and do same if he feels that can win him the election.
