National Democratic Congress (NDC) To Boycott Mid Year Budget Review
The finance minister, Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta, will this morning present to parliament a mid year budget review for it’s consideration. The mid year budget review which is yet to be presented has seen the parliamentarians in the NDC minority already made some allegations about some nuisance taxes the government is about to introduce.
The leader of the National Democratic Congress minority in parliament, Mr. Haruna Iddrisu has exclusively confirmed to us that they, the minority with not be available in the house when the finance minister comes in to present the budget review .
He stated that they come to decision because the NPP did same when they, the NDC were in power. They therefore believe it is time to pay them back in equal measure. He also added that they hear the house of parliament will not serve any food today like they did in their time and as such they can’t witness this boring presentation on empty stomachs. And as a result their decision to boycott the mid year budget review
