Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale, after next week, will walk off with a guaranteed $700,000 and bragging rights as the most sought after Dancehall artiste in Ghana.

Reliable information reaching ScrewLife.Com indicates that Shatta Wale (born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr.) has been billed to perform at The X Factor (UK) finals.

Per the rules of engagement of the reality show, the semi-finalists are required to choose artistes they wish to see them perform at the finals. According to our inside sources, Ghanaian contestants – Reggie and Bollie – opted for the self-proclaimed Dancehall King.

In a decisive meeting last night, all team-players, except one, agreed to put Shatta Wale on the show because of his craftsmanship. Even though one of the producers complained about the quality of his songs, the ‘Kakai’ hit maker made them aware that he programs, mixes, and master all his tracks in order to save money.

Though they’ve billed him to perform on the night, they’ve also suggested to him to audition for the show next year in order to improve his stage performance and vocal ability.

Our sources also hinted us that the producers have already warned Shatta not to perform any song that contains unprintable words. This, according to our sources, didn’t go down well with Ghana’s finest Dancehall artiste because if he’s to go by that policy, he wouldn’t have any song to perform since all his tracks are rated 18+ and require parental guidance.

From the camp of Shatta, we’ve already been informed that he’s currently in the studio recording a diss track for The X Factor producers before he even flies to UK to perform on their stage.
