Ewe Man Who Returned from the Dead Says Former President Atta Mills is Deeply Upset & Disappointed in John Mahama
An Ewe man who died for 2 days and somehow came back to life told the NDC’s Volta Regional chairman that he met former President Mills while gone—and that Mills gave him a special message to be given to Ghana’s current president John Dramani Mahama.
The man whose name was given as Innocent Atsu wanted to meet President John Dramani Mahama to deliver this special message but the Volta Regional chairman said it was impossible for him to meet Mahama.
Speaking on Radio Volta this morning, Atsu narrated how long he walked when he died—saying, he walked for several hours and became extremely thirsty.
He said “on my way to this far away land, I met several people who wouldn’t respond or say a word to me. They spoke a language I did not understand but they all looked Ghanaian.”
Atsu added “eventually, I got to this place which was a little cloudy and then everyone rushed to come and greet me as if I am a new recruit. There, I saw former President Mills who welcomed me and said my time is not up yet so very soon the guard will send me back home.”
“Mills then told me that, when I am sent back home, I should tell John Mahama that he is deeply disappointed in him.”
Atsu said he asked Atta Mills why he was saying so—but all Mills said was that, John Mahama will understand.
According to the family of Atsu from Akatsi in Volta Region, it was a shock when after two days of his death, Atsu came out of the room where he was being kept ahead of burial—as the family waited for his father to return from Togo.
