Sarkodie

Talented Ghanaian musician Sarkodie made headlines mid this year when he recorded and released a single with American rapper-Ace Hood, said to have cost him over 35,000 dollars.

The single did not do well as anticipated and the surrounding controversy of it being a waste of money succeeded in killing it.

For many, this was a bad investment since Ace Hood did not even tweet about the song to help get it into the American market which Sarkodie was so desperate to penetrate—and Sarkodie has finally admitted this.

ScrewLife.Com is told that in a brief interview on Adom Fm this morning on his New Year resolution, Sarkodie said;

“I am looking forward to greater things next year and one thing I know for sure is that I wouldn’t be making that Ace Hood investment mistake again.”

He added “I cleared all my savings account for that American dude and he treated me like I paid him with a toilet roll—but that’s life, we live to learn. In fact, I could have invested that money in my Auntie’s bakery business with some good returns yet I was swayed by this man’s American accent and handed it all to him easily.”

Sarkodie ended the conversation by saying, “his single New Year resolution is stop wearing that blind people’s spectacle which has become part and parcel of him.”
