Yvonne Nelson Calls Ghana Movie Awards A$$ Kissing Awards + She Says She Does Not Want the Ghana Movie Awards She Won

Last night at the 2015 Ghana Movie Awards, Beasts of No Nation won 11 awards out of the 15 nominations it received—with Yvonne Nelson’s movie ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ winning just 3.
Yvonne Nelson herself won ‘Best Actress’ and Becca won ‘Best Supporting Actress’ for ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’.
Yvonne refused to attend this year’s award ceremony which took place at the Accra International Conference Center as she usually does each year—because, she wanted ‘Beasts of No Nation’ to be disqualified during the nominations stage and the organisers told her to piss off.
Though her movie won a few awards last night, Yvonne Nelson has taken to twitter this morning to tell the organisers to go to hell with their awards.
She wrote:
“I do not want any awards from Ghana Movie Awards. They should add the so called award they gave me to the ones Beasts of No Nations won.”
“In fact, I think they made a mistake when they mentioned my name for that award, the paper said Beasts of No Nation. That movie deserves all the awards.”
