Baby Born to Muslim Parents in Pakistan On New Year Eve Had A Paper Reading ‘Jesus is Coming Soon’ in His Hand
A small village near Islamabad in Pakistan has been shocked by the birth of a baby boy—when the grandmother who delivered the baby found that the new born baby had one of his hands closed for over an hour.
According to reports, the grandmother watched the baby to see if he would open his right hand for a long time but the baby did not. And even during his first bath which takes place an hour later after birth per Pakistani tradition, the baby kept his hand closed.
Right after the bath, the grandmother of the baby who doubled as the mid-wife forced the hand of the baby opened—and there was a brown paper.
On the paper was the words “Jesus is Coming Soon.”
The family of the baby who were all born Muslims reportedly took the child to a local Muslim leader-Faraz Mohammed with the paper, and he too couldn’t believe it.
Associated Press reporter in Islamabad-Shanez Khan told the news agency that, “it is shocking and this has turned the village full of Muslims upside down. So many people are coming in to see this baby and the brown paper his parents reported he came with.”
