NPP

Honestly, we are in for a very tough political battle this year as the country’s main opposition party, New Patriotic Party (NPP) seeks to unseat the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) for being extremely incompetent in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.

As we already know of our political parties, election years are years they endorse all manner of songs that suit their campaign messages to push their various political agenda – and this year is no exception.

Over the weekend, ScrewLife.Com was reliably informed that NDC had endorsed Shatta Wale’s hit song, ‘Kakai’ (monster) as its official campaign song

Just this morning, NPP has also announced its official 2016 campaign song and interestingly, the song chosen by the party seems to be counter attacking that of NDC.

Even though the party has decided to make this decision known to the public in the next few days, we’ve decided to let our cherished readers be the first to know about it.

In a closed door meeting held Monday morning, all party executives present opted for the ‘Tabithakum’ hit maker, Nicholas Omane Acheampong’s ‘Aposor’ song. According to them, no matter how firm John Mahama and his NDC cohorts have decided to cling on to the presidency like ‘Aposor’, they (Prez Mahama & NDC) would let go of it just as the song suggests.

“Aposor is an animal with the strongest grip that hates light. This animal does not let go of whatever it holds unless it sees light. NDC is the Aposor that doesn’t want to let go of the power its enjoying. NPP is the light that Ghanaians need. ‘Aposor’ Mahama would humbly surrender and let go of his position when he sees the light (Akuffo Addo),” John Boadu told us.

“If members of NDC say they are coming to scare us like ‘Kakai’, they should also bear in mind that like ‘Aposor’, 2016 ‘Ɔmo begyae mu’,” he concluded.
