‘Who Said Tweaa’ DCE-Gabriel Barima Shortlisted for Vacant Power Minister Position As Everyone is Running Away from the Job
Popular Ghanaian politician-Gabriel Barima, popularly known as “Tweaa DCE”, the former District Chief Executive of the Ahafo Ano South District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana may soon be back into active politics—this time occupying an important national position.
During the extra time playoff of 2015, President John Dramani Mahama decided to take on a bit of his leadership role by indirectly firing two incompetent Ministers through the political route of resignation.
One of the two Ministers who were shown the door is Dr. Kwabena Donkor, the bragging Dumsor fixer who could not live to his own promise—leaving the Power Ministry currently vacant, a position no Ghanaian politician wants to go near.
Despite the many coward politicians running away from the position, 5 local government politicians are said to have submitted their names—each hoping to become the next Power Minister and they are each certain that they would be able to solve Ghana’s power problem.
Out of the 5, 3 have been listed—and on top the 3 is DCE Tweaa, ScrewLife.Com has learnt.
According to our source at the Presidency, Gabriel Barima wrote in his cover letter for the position that “since there seem to be no ‘Barima’ left to take the difficult challenge of fixing Ghana’s power problem for fear of ridicule and eventually being sacked, he is stepping forward as the ‘Barima’ in his name denotes for the position.”
Apparently, President Mahama is seriously considering DCE Tweaa for the position since most of the people he has called on have declined the offer.
