Netflix

Ghana and several African countries have joined the fun room of ‘Netflix and chill’—though a little late, it’s better than never.

For many years across the ocean, Netflix has been serving film lovers with movies, mostly crap ones at an affordable prices—and recently added a new fun package, called ‘Netflix and chill’ which has reportedly gotten more men laid than ever.

It’s therefore with excitement that both ‘Netflix’s film streaming service’ and its ‘easy bang bang’ service have arrived in Africa, particular Ghana.

But there’s a problem—internet connection in Ghana cost more than a private university fees.

The average Ghanaian will need to rob the nearest bank to be able to pay for broadband bandwidth to watch just season 1 of ‘Breaking Bad,’ provided there is even electricity…

So even though Netflix has launched with almost a month of free access, Ghanaians are just talking about, opening Netflix’s website to look at the movies’ covers and smile without clicking on play—because a minute of streaming will completely finish their entire month’s demarcated bandwidth.

For this reason, the Convention People’s Party (CPP) has offered a solution; that it will provide a special internet connection for Ghanaians to watch Netflix for free if they are voted into power in the upcoming elections.

And considering the eagerness of the voting population to ‘Netflix and chill’, the other political parties are worried that CPP would be able to sweep a lot of votes with this promise—which all Ghanaians know they will never deliver.
