Kwame-Despite

The CEO of Despite Group of Companies, Osei Kwame Despite released an enviable brand new 488 GTB Ferrari in Ghana, a super fast car with an estimated price of $245,000 (GHC 931,000).

The 2015 488 GTB Ferrari which runs on 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine—with a dual-clutch 7-speed F1 gearbox transmission made media headlines in Ghana for being an out of the league car.

But just two days after getting a taste of the poor roads in Ghana, the brand new Feraari has broken down—the pot holes killed the engine, a source from Peace Fm told ScrewLife.Com.

Apparently, Osei Kwame Despite used the Spintex road the very day the Ghana was licensed—and the next day, he visited a friend at Achimota.

And that’s all; the roads that the car was drove on during these two quick trips just killed it.

We are told Osei Kwame Despite does not trust those Abossey Okai mechanics to have a look at his expensive machine so he would be shipping the faulty car to London, for Ferrari to have a look at fixing it.

A former Ferrari employee we spoke to was not shocked that the powerful car broke down in just 2 days—saying, “these expensive super fast cars are not meant for farm roads like you people have in Ghana. Surely, it will break down in hours on those pothole infested roads.”
