Black People Want to Win Oscars When They Have Not Even Acted in Any Movie–Donald Trump Tells Fox News
Several African-American actors and actresses have announced that they will boycott this year’s Oscars—because, the Academy Award continues to sideline them and as become as white as snow.
A movement which was started by actress Jada Pinkett Smith and was later joined by director-Spike Lee and many other black actors is calling for a boycott of this year’s Oscars—on the back of the fact that, for two consecutive years, no actor of colour has been nominated in the acting categories of the Academy Awards.
Speaking to Fox News last night, Republican presidential hopeful-Donald Trump said; “black folks continue to moan instead of getting their butts off the sofa to do some real work. They want to win Oscars when they have not even acted in any movie.”
He continued “Perhaps, we need to create a special Academy award for African American actors who did not work in the year—and that’s the only way they will be satisfied.”
He added “I feel sorry that they are not getting any movie roles but that is not the fault of the Oscars. The Oscars do not make the movies, they only award the movies made so if you are not in any movie, how do you expect them to award you?”
According to Trump, black people complain a lot—especially when they are not winning. And instead of spending energy on complaining and planning boycott, “what about putting that energy into doing some real work, capable of fetching black people want they want?” he asked.
