blood

An elder of Jehovah’s Witness’ Bimbila branch has been suspended from his position and he is likely to be deposed after he donated blood to his dying son—against one of the key doctrines of the church.

Members of the Jehovah’s Witness faith are obliged via doctrine not to ever take part in any blood transfusion exercise—even if it will safe the life of a loved one.

And it is this strict doctrine that Mr. Hassan Abimta ignored and arranged with a doctor at the Bimbila Government Hospital so he could donate the needed blood to his dying son.

Now, Abimta’s son is well and back to school but the folks at the Kingdom Hall have gotten a wind of the blood donation and Abimta has been suspended as an elder pending investigation.

It’s shocking that despite everything,  a group of people still believe that the only proper way to serve a God in sincerity is to deny others the needed help—such as blood, when they so need it and would rather stand and watch while many die instead of make a donation.

Not only this, true Witness folks do not also take part in singing national anthems and pledges—yet they secure national passports when they want to travel.

Others within the faith even believe they are not allowed to join the military of the police, yet they run to the police station when they have problems.
