DKB

Ghanaian comedian DKB who was thrown out from the seventh edition of the Big Brother Africa reality television show for slapping a female housemate (Zainab) claims his fellow comedian’s (Bishop Bob Okala) death was caused by the ruling NDC government.

According to him, President John Mahama and his NDC government did not do anything to support the late comedian’s career.

As maintained by DKB, the ruling government has failed to make comedy in Ghana attractive – thereby making them struggle to make ends meet from their acts, a situation his fellow comedian found himself in.

He further stated that if the NDC government does not come on board to support comedians, they will stop making people laugh in the country.

“We are noted for helping people release stress yet this government doesn’t want to fund us. If it continues like this, we will stop making people laugh; and you all know the effect – stress will kill lots of Ghanaians,” he said.

These utterances coming from DKB himself, it’s not really surprising because he is known for riding on the back of trending issues to draw attention to himself.

It will be recalled that this same person tweeted and said Ghanaian superstar, Abraham Attah, dresses like a phone repairer after the young man won the ‘Best Male Lead’ at the 2016 Oscars which took place at NY.
