C-Zar To Face Paedae In A Winner-Takes-All Rap Battle On Adom FM’s Kasahari Levels
Two Ghanaian rap ‘heavyweights’, Faisal Hakeem, popularly known in showbiz as Paedae and C-Zar (real name Augustine Osei Owusu) are to face each other in a winner-takes-all rap battle on Adom FM’s Kasahari Levels.
This comes at a time when Ghanaians are finding it very difficult to choose someone as Ghana’s rap god. In a poll conducted by ScrewLife.Com to find out the great rappers of our time, two names that topped the poll were C-Zar and Paedae of R2Bees.
In order to pick one as the emerging winner, industry expert suggested a rap battle where the two can exhibit their rap skills for the general public to know what they are capable of doing when given a mic.
In an interview with ScrewLife.Com, the Tema-based artiste, Paedae, accepted to battle his colleague rapper, C-Zar – claiming C-Zar is not his match.
C-Zar who was rehearsing inside Appietus’ studio at the time of our visit also accepted the challenge. According to him, he’s in for it so far as there’s money involved because he taught Paedae, Sarkodie, and even American rapper, 50Cent how to rap.
The battle has therefore been schedule for Saturday, April 2, 2016 at exactly 8pm on Kasahari Levels. Judges for the night will be Nana Boroo, Dr Cryme, Zigi, and D-Black.
