Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur over the weekend donated a ram and two bags of rice to the Wa Methodist School for the Blind in an effort to motivate them to study.

Presenting the scanty items to the school, Veep said “Hunger is an enemy, we cannot study without food. When we are satisfied, we are motivated to learn hard and we need this support to enable us to accomplish our aims.” As to how two bags of rice and a ram are going to be used to feed a whole school, we don’t know.

Several Ghanaians, after the donation by the Vice President, have taken to their social media pages to question why Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur donated only a ram and two bags of rice considering his status in the country and his wealth.

Well, the Vice President has come out to clear the air. According to him, Ghanaians should not just see the ram as a mere ram. Speaking to ScrewLife.Com, he said “the ram I donated to the school is pregnant and per the scan carried on it by veterinary doctor, it will give birth to 12 kids which is enough for the school.”

“You see I did not only donate one ram but a pregnant ram one which is going to give birth to 12 kids. By logic, I donated 13 in all. I think I deserve to be applauded, not condemned,” he stated.

According to him, the school authorities can decided to sell the 12 goats later. This, he said, is a source of revenue for the school.

He urged all Ghanaians to refrain from attacking personalities when they do not know the reasons behind their acts.
