Kumkum

Kumkum Bhagya, the Indian soap opera which has been trending in Ghana is uniquely popular in Kumasi—where a woman recently named her daughter, Kumkum Bhagya.

Residents of Kumasi are statistically said to be addicts of the TV series—with many folks from that part of Ghana saying in a recent Fox Fm survey that they wouldn’t miss the series for anything.

In fact, recently, the Methodist Church at Kwadaso reportedly said evening church service turnout had drastically dropped because members are hooked on the Kumkum Bhagya kool-aid.

Interestingly, KNUST students and teachers are also glued to the TV series—at least, that’s far better than the amateur porn they’ve been publicly screening with pride.

First year students’ studying Political Science at KNUST were shocked when an examination they wrote earlier today featured a question on Kumkum Bhagya at question 18.

The senior Political Science lecturer-Dr. Osei Nimako who was in charge of the examination and also a true fan of Kumkum Bhagya asked the students this;

18. What is the name of Pragya’s mother in the popular Indian soap opera Kumkum Bhagya?

  1. Sarla Arora
  2. AliyaArora
  3. Rachna Singh
  4. NikhilPatel

Apparently, every student got this particular question right—because, they’ve all been watching and that was in fact the easiest question among the 50 multiple choice question they had to answer.

Perhaps, this should explain why they would find it interesting and reasonable to screen a s*x tape on a giant screen just to shame the involved female.
