Ghanaian musician-Bisa Kdei who bragged on the 2016 VGMA stage that he now belongs to the pioneers of High Life musicians in Ghana has sharply apologized for a statement that fetched him a widespread social media bashing.
After mounting the VGMA stage for the second time to specifically apologize for his speech built on hyperbole, he told our reporter at the event grounds that, he ate starkist tuna and kenkey before coming to the VGMA and that actually contributed to to his usage of the word ‘pioneer’ in his speech.
Asked to explain to us the connection between starkist tuna and his usage of the world ‘pioneer’, he reminded us that, starkist tuna is made by Pioneer Food Cannery in Tema, and his continuous starring at the starkist before eating it this afternoon somewhat influenced his rehearsed speech for the night.
