‘I Choose John Mahama’ Sticker Found On Nana Akufo Addo’s Car After VGMA | Police Starts Special Investigation
There has been a mass JM sticker invasion in Accra—with some citizen vigilantes forcefully choosing John Mahama for everyone, especially those with fine expensive cars.
Several people who went to the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards at the Conference Center in Accra came out of the auditorium to find ‘I Choose JM’ stickers on their cars—placed on the back bumpers in such a way that owners wouldn’t easily detect the stickers but anyone at the back would spot them.
Many of the people who had the stickers placed on their cars without their knowledge are in fact driving around town with them—endorsing JM when they don’t even know they are doing so.

According to information gathered, Nana Akufo Addo, the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party has become a victim of this sticker trespass—he was seen driving around Spintex with a convoy this afternoon, and his car had the beautifully sticker ‘I Choose John Mahama.’
This was later spotted after a passer-by pointed it to one of his security men—but the question remains; how long ago did he make this involuntary JM choosing?
Yesterday, the family of Akufo Addo attended the VGMA with that particular car—and therefore, it seems that’s where the sticker placement took place.
Nana Akufo Addo has since reported the issue to the Nima Police Station and a special investigation has been launched to find those who are doing the batman sticker sticking.
Apparently, party chairman-Freddie Blay is utterly upset about this and he is silently demanding to see the head of the persons doing this on a spike.
