Akua-Donkor

Dancehall artiste MzVee has been nominated for the 2016 BET Awards, in the Best International Act Africa category.

Founder of the Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor, says the nomination of MzVee for a BET award is a sham.

According to her, if MzVee deserves to be nominated for the International award, then she has surely done enough to win the prestigious Nobel award.

“I cannot recall exactly what MzVee did throughout the year to deserve this award” she said on Plus Fm in Accra, speaking in the twi dialect she is known for.

“I at least travelled across the world with President Mahama and saw many world leaders.

“Or is she being awarded for showing her womanhood on stage?” Donkor queried?

Akua Donkor added that her expert advice helped the President decide to accept the Guantanamo Two, which helped bring peace to the world. Therefore, she has done more to win a Nobel than MzVee has done for a BET Award nomination in the year under review.
