Woman Arrested in Kumasi-Kwadaso Market for Selling Donkey Poo As ‘Akrantea Bini’ for 3 Good Years

Rashidatu Larchie, a converted Ashanti Muslim was arrested yesterday at Kwadaso market in Kumasi—after it emerged that, her highly patronised and expensive ‘Akrantea Bini’ is not what it is but rather a donkey poo.

Per reports, almost everyone from Kwadaso to Agric and as far as Santasi rushes each Saturday to buy Auntie Rashida’s special animal faeces for soup—and people even buy as many as 5 bowls to freeze them for the entire week.

However, her luck ran out yesterday when a man she regularly buys the donkey poo from at Nkenkenso, a small down on the Kumasi-Techiman road under the guise to use the poo for manure attended a funeral with his friend at Kwadaso and bumped into the booming business of the woman at the market.

The shocked man couldn’t believe how people had queued up and fighting over a mere animal poo, a donkey poo which they thought was the popular ‘Akrantea bini’ delicacy—all because, the woman mixes a small dose of ‘Akrantea bini’ with a large quantity of the donkey poo to give it a familiar smile.

So the man, only named as Abu broke the news to the buyers and soon, Rashida was arrested by two local policemen, also customers of her ‘Akrantea bini’ or let’s say donkey poo.
