After Global Complaints Whatsapp Introduces Call Waiting to Kill the Annoying Plenty Missed Calls–This is How to Activate It
After countless Global Complaints, Whatsapp, the free messaging and calling app has introduced the much needed call waiting–which allows users to see incoming calls while on their phone and decide to pick them on or not, instead of calls going as missed or taking over.
If you have not activated Whatsapp’s calling wait, this is what usually happens: when you are on a Whatsapp call and another person tries to call you on Whatsapp irrespective of how important the call is, it will register as missed call and the other party will be given a busy tone.
And if you are using Whatsapp call and someone calls your phone direct, it automatically takes over, putting your Whatsapp call on hold—deeply annoying if you were in a middle of an important conversation and the new direct call is that unimportant.
Now, Whatsapp has come to its senses and has realised that there’s the need to give people an option to users to decide on which calls to pick and what not—with Calling Waiting.
To activate Whatsapp’s call waiting, all you gave to do is go to your settings, privacy—and you will find a tick saying: allow or disallow calling waiting.
