Madam Akua Donkor, Founder and Leader of Ghana Freedom Party has said Donald Trump’s rise to become the president of America has given her more strength that she is also capable of winning the upcoming elections in Ghana.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Hello FM, Akua Donkor said, “People are laughing at me just as those in America laughed at that man called Donald Trump. Now who is having the last laugh?”

She continued: ” I have more vim now as everything is possible. I am even waiting for Donald Trump to call me because we were in the same boat.”

Ghanaians will go to the polls next month to elect a new president and even though it’s not certain whether Akua Donkor will even vote for her own self, she seems to believe she is capable of winning the elections.
