The issue about Josh Laryea’s suspension and other issues surrounding it seem not to come to an end. Each passing day introduces a new twist to the story.

Ghanacelebrities.com wrote an article on Mzbel’s “I be 16 years” hit song asking if the song was directed at Josh Laryea. The article was written with the third verse of the lyrics in mind.

“Ei, bra Laryea make you no do me so
Bra Laryea make you no mess me up
Bra Laryea oh, Bro Laryea oh
I be sixteen na metintin
Na eno nti, make you no try to full me
For the last time I dey warn you
I be kiddie, make you leave me

If you touch my thing o, way o, Poppy o

In a response to the article on Live FM, MzBel said “Actually, Josh Laryea wrote this song for me but I changed as a reply to him. The original lyrics are not good enough for radio so I can’t share them with you but with my version which became a hit, I was trying to tell  him to stop making those advances.”
